St. Louis, MO. – The Innovative Technology Education Fund (ITEF) awarded $169,298.50 inCatapult grantsto ten area schools ranging in amounts from $3,000 to $30,000. These competitive grants allow schools in our region to obtain basic technology and elevate the educational playing field for k-12 students.

The 2025 Catapult Grant recipients are:

The Biome School, $15,200

  • To purchase Dell Chromebooks replacing outdated and irreparable devices

De Soto #73 School District, $30,000

  • To replace aging servers with Dell PowerEdge servers and licenses to improve network performance and digital learning infrastructure

Ferguson Middle School, Ferguson-Florissant School District, $15,301.50

  • To provide prewired Chromebook charging carts

Griffith Intermediate, Ferguson-Florissant School District, $30,000

  • To purchase laptops and cases, VR headsets, 3D printers, modular library furniture and training in 3D printing, VR integration and cross curriculum instructional design to create an innovation lab for students to design and print prototypes and explore ecosystems and historical sites

McCluer High School, $12,000

  • To provide Nikon cameras, studio lighting kits, backdrops, zoom lenses, tripods, memory cards, microphones, headsets, photo/video capable laptops, external hard drives, iPads, a photo printer and a green screen for students who previously relied on personal cell phone cameras for journalism and yearbook photography

Pershing Elementary, School District of University City, $3,080

  • To purchase iPads and cases for students to write, design, film and edit in a digital storytelling class

STEAM Academy Middle School, Ferguson-Florissant School District, $16,530

  • To purchase projection mapping software, gaming laptops, projectors, student software licenses, portable speakers and Windows Projection Material XL to engage students in an interdisciplinary exploration uniting science, computer science and the arts through visual mapping and projection design

St. Mary’s Southside Catholic High School, $29,187

  • To purchase Lenovo Chromebooks, Zero Touch enrollments and Google Management EDU subscriptions to meet 1:1 student/device ratio, replacing outdated devices

Restoration and Wellness Center, Ferguson-Florissant School District, $3,600

  • To purchase iPads for geometry assignments including drawing, diagraming and charting

Wedgewood 6th Grade Center, Ferguson-Florissant School District, $14,400 To purchase student Chromebooks and charging carts to help meet 1:1 student/device ratio, replacing outdated devices
