K-3 Forder educator and ITEF grant recipient Amanda Wyatt shared this update:

All because of our wonderful connection with ITEF, Forder has continued to foster relationships within the community. The match-up with our mentor from Boeing has been amazing. Our mentor has since left Boeing but she still invests her time with us at Forder.

I recently asked Carol Nelson (ITEF board vice-chair) at Boeing if she could find us another match at Boeing to support us with FIRST LEGO robotics and grants. She jumped right on it and we already have another connection.

I can’t imagine where I’d be with some of my projects without the ITEF connection.  Thank you ITEF for continuing to support innovation within our community.

Boeing is committed to helping students develop 21st-century skills needed to succeed in both academics and in life.  We know these students represent our future and we are happy to help students at Mehlville School District’s Forder Elementary by complementing their learning experiences with volunteers as role models.

ITEF salutes Amanda, Forder, and the Boeing organization for their commitment for inspiring student learning.
